LA DISTRIBUTRICE is a genius architectural design idea for use of space for a coffee shop. The idea of this coffee shop is that it's a takeout coffee service and it's straight to the point. A barista serves you directly on the street, next to a popular subway station. It is the smallest coffee shop in North America and it's located Montreal. It is for people who are on the go, and also aren't ordering super complicated drinks that take up too much time. This idea is strictly for coffee, espresso and americanos. Everything from the product design, typography, to the small space usage, is inviting. The materials were chosen because coffee on the go is an idea of not lingering. This place doesn't have anywhere to sit, doesn't have more than 3 options and it's located in a busy place. Making it easier to carry out the to coffee to-go concept. This is a great idea, the only way it can be improved is by adding more locations.

Glass Cabin
With climate changes there should be more ideas about recycling and being efficient with designs, like this architectural design. The glass cabin is made from discarded windows, and most materials that were saved from a nearby barn. Designer Lilah Horwitz and photographer Nick Olson built their home with $500 dollars and months of physical labor. It functions like a cabin, for people who want to get away, and it’s intended to be used in mountains, near lakes etc. A certain type of getaway for city people. The materials were chosen because they would make the project cheaper, and it would also give it a rustic look. The idea is great, but it could use plumbing and electricity, which would add to the budget. They could use solar panels and rent to people, that way they can get inspired to go green.

Nazi Imagery
The music video for Nicki Minaj is design to shock people along with her lyrics, it is meant for her fans People aren't happy about this video from Nicki Minaj, because they're upset about them including Nazi imagery. It includes the visual elements to the Third Reich, including the color scheme, and the logo of their record label. She also sits in a throne as a dictator looking at thousands of soldiers.People took it as disrespectful, and want it to be taken down."The irony should be lost on no one that this video debuted on the 76th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the 'night of broken glass' pogrom that signaled the beginning of the Final Solution and the Holocaust." Nicki's excuse for the poor choice is that she didn't come up with the concept but takes full responsibility for it. She said that the artist who came up with the concept wasn't inspired by Nazi's but a cartoon. This design is a fail, the color scheme, along with her dictator position is almost an exact imitation for Nazi imagery. With the excessive complaints, most people could recognize the imagery, along with the swastika like arm band logos. This video concept is a complete fail and should be taken down and redone. If they wanted to get bad attention, then it would be the only reason why the concept and images were chosen.
Quality Moments?
This Exxon & Mobil advertisement are on the side of their gas pump, with two slogans. One Saying that "Quality moments ruled here." and "Energy lives here.'' The targeted audience would be the consumer who is pumping gas. Letting their customers know about the quality and great moments you can experience by buying from Exxon and Mobil. This advertisement fail because the photograph shows the girl with her head sticking almost out of the window. It shows that this gas company doesn't think too highly of women. This advertisement could of been better by photographing actual "quality" moments. Like the couple holding hands, photo taken at an angle where you could see the couple & a baby in the backseat. Anything would be better than portraying the woman like an animal in the car, unless she was trying to escape foul smells from inside the car, by which wouldn't be quality moments either.

Hang on
The Monsieur DressUp is a unique coat rack design by Anna Thomas, they are made of maple and you can purchase them individually or more than one. The image shows the coat hanger set up by itself & how it would look with more. The idea it that it's not your normal hook where it leaves a dent on your clothes, The Monsieur DressUp maintains the delicacy and the shape of your favorite clothes. The shapes of the wall hooks make an interesting design on your wall or wherever you decide to place them, at the door, by the bed or a bathroom. This product design gives the freedom to an individual to locate these anywhere. This idea is for someone who wants something different and simple. The materials were probably chosen so they wouldn't ruin your clothing. This is a great idea, the fact that they are not connected to each other makes it visually more pleasing and the they don't ruin your clothes.
Dress Normal?
This GAP's new dress normal campaign is meant to reach out to a younger market that isn't afraid to be basic. It is meant to sell the idea that magazines will be telling you what to wear this Fall. It has recruited actors that aren't flashy with their style or just care that their work speak for them and not their clothes. Saying that even if your shirt is normal, you are definitely not. Gap has signed on Sofia Coppola to direct four awkward commercials, for the holidays, to portray different weird family situations. And although this design is meant to reach an audience that isn't afraid to be "normal" this campaign is a fail, because people don't want to be normal. People want to dress like celebrities and models, or why didn't they use normal people for the campaign? They used celebrities that they thought, dressed pretty basic to start off with. They're photographed not doing much in clothes that don't stand out. It's weird to have celebrities telling you not to stand out, since the campaign has launched, analysts admitted that it might of been too normal to appeal to a mass market. They wanted to give people the confidence to be themselves and not to be told what to wear, but they failed to understand their audience or just people. People don't want to realize they're normal or boring, they don't want to hear what some consider, the truth. This idea could be better by reaching out to their customers differently, instead of telling them to Dress Normal, they could just tell them to make their own style from using their pieces. Using Sofia Coppola to capture moments of in different scenarios that make someone feel special and it happened while wearing GAP clothes. Maybe someones first kiss, or graduation, because peoples clothes shouldn't be normal, they should be special, like their experiences. They should've worded it differently.

Succulent Design
A perfect idea for homes is a design for gardens or front yards that conserve water. This eco friendly house would use less maintenance and water than grass. People should rethink their yards with the drought but also get something visually pleasing, to continue making their homes unique. The idea of a succulent garden is exactly that, saving water while maintaining it's beauty. Succulents store water in their stems and leaves and can tolerate periods of dryness without harm. This idea is to be used to replace grass. Home owners could also use pebbles or other small rocks to create a dry garden. This idea is for people who also want to avoid tickets that come along with wasting water, getting smarter about water usage. This is a great idea for California residents being affected by the drought, and it's very good because they are offering rebate for your grass. The way this idea could be improved is by showing residents better designs for their lawns, some people cannot picture their lawns being substituted by a cactus, the idea has to be advertised in a better way.
