With climate changes there should be more ideas about recycling and being efficient with designs, like this architectural design. The glass cabin is made from discarded windows, and most materials that were saved from a nearby barn. Designer Lilah Horwitz and photographer Nick Olson built their home with $500 dollars and months of physical labor. It functions like a cabin, for people who want to get away, and it’s intended to be used in mountains, near lakes etc. A certain type of getaway for city people. The materials were chosen because they would make the project cheaper, and it would also give it a rustic look. The idea is great, but it could use plumbing and electricity, which would add to the budget. They could use solar panels and rent to people, that way they can get inspired to go green.
